Whilst it’s interesting in itself, it’s also interesting to note how widely used RAM is, how many different devices use it.
The amount CPU chips for example are used is a lot less because there’s a lot more specific CPUs then there are RAM chips (the individual black chips on a stick of RAM). A gaming computer may have an i9, and a server may have a CPU which specialises on amount of cores, and a laptop may have one focusing on power management, and a phone CPU may focus on size.
